Diego Simeone
I am not in the 'sack Sam at any cost' camp, as i feel that at the moment there is no better option available, and at least under Sam we are in a better position than before he came.
But even the most avid Sam supporter can see that he picks players to the detriment of the team. Despite a good start, he is slipping in to his old ways of last season. And i was disgusted at the substitutions of Song and Sakho on Saturday, Sam's excuse that the game was lost and that he was protecting the players is bollox. At even 3-0 down the majority of fans hadn't given, nor should he have.
Anyway one name that i haven't noticed mentioned as a replacement is Simeone. Would he be interested in coming to the premier league, he is with a team that has a budget well below his two main rivals in the Spanish league. Would Gold and Sullivan be able to coax him to West Ham by selling our potential.
Anyway what does anybody else think.

Correct. There is no chance of him coming to West Ham at this moment in time.

When he goes to one of Europe's elite clubs he may find the 'two the party line' thing a little to much for his temperament. That's the only thing I can see stopping him from becoming one of the worlds top managers in the next five years.

Athletico Madrid are a cavalier club and they suit him perfectly. Thery have sat in the shadow of Real almost all there life. It is a David and Goliath story and, for them, he is that cockey, rascal type character that stands up to the regime. Everything Athletico stand for. Therefore, some of his antics have been overlooked which probably wouldn't have been accepted at one of the top clubs.

If he goes to a top club and can keep his temperament under control then he will be successful. If he can't then he may be available for a club like West Ham. Until then his future lies above us.

Far better options for him than us.

Not good enough, we should probably go for Pep Guardiola if looking for a foreign coach.

Probably THE hottest manager in world football right now. More realism needed with suggestions.

I wonder if he is aware we're moving into the Olympic Stadium... that could be a deal-breaker.

Cough - Yes he could, they said he spoke English to the players all the time, just not in press conferences. Try again.

Re: Diego Simeone
His athletico side fucked my bet up last night, they didn't look very convinving as a side to be honest. Celta vigo are mid table and made quite easy work of beating them.

Surely he's young enough to put his boots on and play one game for West Ham.

Re: Diego Simeone
Nah, he never stood in the Chicken Run as a kid and never played for West Ham.

These are vital qualifications to be WHU manager.
